Turning compassion into action.
Every number tells a story: a person supported, a family strengthened, or a future opened to greater possibility.
V’s Heart was founded in 2021 with a vision rooted in compassion, service, and the desire to create meaningful change. Our early years were spent serving families quietly and building a strong foundation. In 2024, our impact began to take flight, and we began documenting every step.
The annual reports below document our journey from that point forward, sharing the people reached, resources mobilized, and community impact made possible through those who believe in our mission.

Our cumulative impact since 2024
Cumulative impact metrics reflect documented results from years 2024 & 2025.

Outcomes
Results that last.
Activity tells you what we did. Outcomes tell you what changed. Our scholars are staying in school and finishing, and in 2026 we grew our Board of Directors from 3 to 14 members to strengthen our leadership and oversight.
We do a lot with a little.
Every contribution to V’s Heart is managed with purpose, transparency, and care. As a volunteer-led organization, we maintain disciplined financial oversight, track resources by program, measure results, and direct support where it can create meaningful, lasting impact for the families and scholars we serve.
Since 2024, volunteers have given 4,920 hours and V’s Heart has invested $66,777 back into our community. See the full financials in our annual reports below.
Every dollar, carefully stewarded.
V’s Heart is currently 100% volunteer-led — no one on our team is paid. The rest of our spending covers the essentials that keep our work safe and accountable: storage for donated goods, software and technology (including the secure system that protects family information), nonprofit insurance, background checks for volunteers who serve youth and seniors, and required licenses and fees.
Our financial statements are reviewed and approved by our Board of Directors each year.

Help write the next story.
In 2025, V’s Heart served 41 families for about $970 per family, all costs included. A gift of $25,000 in general operating support would help us serve about 25 more North Texas families, rebuild our reserves, and keep all four programs running year-round.
