Our mission
Four pillars. One heart.
V's Heart stabilizes households, expands educational opportunity, equips youth and young adults with life-readiness skills, and provides compassionate support to families, seniors, caregivers, and individuals during life transitions through a holistic, trauma-informed, four-pillar model.

3College graduates in 2026 across our programs
100% of our Butterfly Effect Scholars are still in school or have graduated.
Our first scholarship class celebrated 2 college graduates in 2026.
100% of our first cohort completed the program — all 14 Blueprint Builders.
7 went on to earn Butterfly Effect Scholarships — 6 after graduating high school and 1 returning college student. 2 Blueprint Builders graduated from college in 2026 (one of them also a member of our first scholarship class), and both now serve as Blueprint Ambassadors, helping lead V's Heart forward.

Storage costs in 2025 reflect a large 2024 donation of merchandise; we are clearing that inventory to reduce these costs in 2026.
V's Heart is currently 100% volunteer-led — no one on our team is paid. Beyond programs, our spending covers the essentials that keep our work safe and accountable: storage for donated goods, the secure system that protects family information, nonprofit insurance, background checks for volunteers who serve youth and seniors, and required licenses and fees. Our financial statements are prepared on a cash basis by management and reviewed and approved by our Board of Directors each year.

Governance
V's Heart is governed by a 14-member volunteer Board of Directors. In October 2026, we expanded our Board from 3 to 14 members, adding an independent Board Chair, Vice Chair, Board Treasurer, and Board Secretary to strengthen oversight. Board members serve without compensation.
